Since Christmas, I:
Dec. 28th, 2010 11:04 pm*went hiking
-realized I haven't been there in ages
-people ice-climb the frozen waterfalls (I am jealous)
-realized I have quite forgotten just how breathtaking the mountains are, in the mist and snow-capped and ranged together
*was recipient (like the rest of the city) of more snow
-at night, it's just gorgeous, especially when it's just a thick layer of white
*realize that AO3 did really very well during Yuletide, better than expected
-also now I'm not hitting any more 502s! :D
*am feeling guiltily happy over all the comments to Yuletide fic
-PEOPLE LIKE IT I CAN'T BELIEVE IT (I don't want to look at it right now)
*have to go and research historians who researched fall of Roman Republic
-the university library is too quiet. I prefer the public library, which has kids and people actually browsing and having fun and asking questions and the faux-log fireplace. University library tower: dead silence.
*intend to knock off stuff on to-do list, including finding a header for DW journal
-too many photos, not enough time
*realized that answering requests on the LJ support board is horribly addicting.
-I did not intend this. :(
*must write 1K tomorrow.
-OH NO.

Date: Dec. 29th, 2010 06:05 pm (UTC)I'm looking outside and I can barely see to the end of the block. There's snow just coming down in flurries. It was not like this before Christmas!
Now to tackle that story...
