A story of a world, and a witch, that might have been, if Morwen had succeeded in getting a half-D'angeline child to balance out Aniel, if Dorelai had lived and Imriel been much more fastidious with his croonie-stone, and his love with Sidonie had no time to develop a strong foundation before she was ensorceled, if he had been far away in Alba with his young son when the curse was cast. This is the story of a brother and a sister, of hybrids and heritage, of forgiveness and ghosts.

Wait, was Morwen the one that tried to sleep with Imriel to get that ~balancing child? So that Moirin would be Imriel's daughter? (And wouldn't be of Naamah's bloodline?) Hmm. I imagine it would have been a disaster if Imriel didn't save Terre D'Ange from the curse via Sidonie. Interesting concept, although you know how much I like Imriel/Sidonie...;)

Yes, that's the one. So yes, Moirin in this version is Imriel and Morwen's daughter - Kushiel's bloodline instead! And you're right, Terre d'Ange is in a disaster. But I should stop spoiling it in case you want to read it.
