Tortall, Ragwitch -> Young Wizards, Kiesha'ra series -> Outlander series, Private Series, Shopaholic -> apathy -> Temeraire, Collegia Magica, Kushiel's Legacy -> ??

I still revisit some of them once in a blue moon. MLP:FiM, IPS, and others don't count, because I never wrote fic or went looking for fic, just enjoyed them (and that can be said of literally hundreds of books).

Doctor Who is FOREVER!

I'm not rly a fic-based fan so my measure of fandom would be different to yours (disclaimer: although I have written Who fic to amuse my friends).

So, hmm, my lasting "fandoms" were all acquired as a pre-teen and would include Who, Blake's 7, Lewis Carroll (Looking Glass and his poetry, NOT Wonderland, heh), &c. They're all multi-layered imaginative fiction that shaped my brain development and the way I perceive my universe.

YES to Through the Looking Glass - I vastly prefer it to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
