I am seriously considering doing a piece of calligraphy of this quote, and sticking it on my door or wall:

Wast he hope drunk

Ideally I'd like to do this not as a flat, one-font one-size thing, but with words emphasized. (A fancy example would be something like this.) Does anyone know of a good Shakespearean actor you liked who read this? I'd love to hear takes on it.

It seems Ian McKellen (who is one of my favourite actors, Shakespearean or otherwise) played Macbeth in a TV adaptation in the '70s. I've found a video of the scenes starting from the "tommorrow and tomorrow" speech, but didn't find anything else from that production.

I'd love to hear Alan Rickman read it. Or read anything, really :D

Oh - I've heard her singing (it was Sondheim's Send in the Clowns), but I never knew she was also an actor! I should look her up.
