I don't really watch TV - I have neither a physical TV nor a subscription to anything, though in 2021 my friend very kindly did gift me a year of D+, so I watched stuff through that. (Thanks A!)
The real secret to me watching so much Marvel stuff is my friend K, we go to see movies together. K is awesome and I do enjoy seeing movies with her. Though to be honest, after buying the ticket, half the time I don't really feeeeel like going to the theatre, I remember how it's freezing and people are annoying and the smell of popcorn is sometimes stifling and it'll take 4 hours out of my day, but I can't let K down! I'm not gonna flake! Plus I want to see her. So I'll still go and it'll usually be at least enjoyable, at least something different, and sometimes genuinely good.
But without K I definitely would have seen maybe 1 or 2 movies this decade, lol.
I also watched Agent Carter because of K - it was years and years after it aired (I knew the TV show was happening and I love Peggy Carter, but I just never got round to it because ugh, how do I even access TV). Since I didn't have a subscription to anything I just bought the seasons wholesale on Google TV and we streamed it together, an episode a week, for like, I don't even know. Probably half a year? We got through the entirety of the two seasons this way, one week at a time, like five years after it aired.
Iron Man (2008) I was forced to watch during one of the Mandatory Fun activities they made us do at cadet camp at Cold Lake, in 2009. I wish I was joking about the name of this. (They also made us go to dances as Mandatory Fun. We danced to things like I Kissed A Girl and also Stars on '45.) I remember nothing of this movie. It was a Canada-wide scholarship camp - with Francophones - and so we watched it in French with subtitles, kind of to give us the experience of what most Francophones have in Canada, I think. It made zero impression on me, we probably marched back and went to mess for dinner after, I dunno.
I actually chose to watch Avengers (2012) at some point by borrowing it from the university library and projecting it in one of those study rooms you could book. Fandom was blowing up about Marvel and I was curious, so I watched it. It was fun! This was back in the Avengers Tower found family era. So I watched a bit more here and there. I'm pretty sure I backfilled various movies, didn't really go to a lot of new releases. Though I didn't start watching it with K until, let's see, at least summer of 2016, because I didn't move to my present city until then.
I'm 50/50 on seeing Fantastic Four and so is K, so we haven't seen it yet, but we did see Superman (fun!)
