Aww dunnocks look like sparrows to me (which I believe are more closely related to what you guys would call buntings, rather than old world sparrows). Anyway very cute. Same with robins despite their angery personalities :)

You make a very good point about the tentacles. They do look extraordinarily useful. So many good bodyplans out there!!
