Yeah, I actually thought about dnfing it because it took sooo long for me to get interested, but then I was really into it when I finally got there. I think Becky Chambers might require a very precise mood for me, and I hit it perfectly with this one.

I really enjoyed Project Hail Mary! I thought it was really engaging and fast-paced, and I liked how plotty it was, while still having a well-crafted main character. And since I haven't read anything else by Weir, I can't make any comparisons to The Martian, which I think is helpful. :) I'm glad you're enjoying it too!
