RE Vlad's kid, doesn't Cawti not want Kiera to tell him in Orca? I think one of the interstitial conversations where Kiera relates the tale to Cawti mentions Kiera is respecting Cawti's wishes in the matter.

Agree with your assessment of the Savn and Polyi's ages. There's also the Orca youth hanging around Northport in Orca which read very much as rebellious or homeless urchins, they're around 70 years old.

Oh that's interesting speculation about the sword!

It feels like the Great Weapons get to choose what happens to the soul - kind of ties into the sentience thing. Like Loraan came back as undead. And I could see Pathfinder 'fight' with the Morganti sword for the soul, especially if it's Aliera's sword, since Pathfinder loves Aliera!
