No, though if you already know I know it, that's a plus. I just think it'd be interesting to hear about a pairing as potentially intense as that. (Either because canon could have gone there or the people are intense.)

Kushiel's Legacy:

my "FOREVER" pairing Moirin and Bao of course! I read Kushiel's Curse first (...not Kiss haha) and they are 100% my endgame pairing.
my "sometimes" pairing (if i'm in the mood) Phèdre/Ysandre is a really interesting combo that kmo suggested :D I used to ship Phèdre/Joscelin really hard but I kind of just passively ship them now.
my "friends-with-benefits" pairing Hm...possibly Imriel/Claudia. I'm not really big on friends with benefits, I usually go for FULL OUT SHIP! or FULL OUT FRIENDSHIP! with not a lot in between.
my "Adele” pairing ("WE COULD HAVE HAD IT AAAAAALL") I'm still not over Jehanne/Moirin. Why you gotta kill her, Carey? NOooooooo. Also I want an AU where Dorelei and Imriel can set up something like Drustan and Ysandre and I want to see how history shakes out after that. But I guess that's less about the pairing than my interest in the universe!
my "hate sex” pairing Jagrati/Moirin. It would be different!
my "working on it” pairing I want to see Mavros/Amarante so, so, so badly. Like it's almost up there with the FOREVER pairing
my favorite threesome / poly ship I had to think about this a bit, since I don't really ship any poly ships. Probably Sidonie/Amarante/Mavros. Oh wait, no, I'd love to see some resolution amongst Raphael/Jehanne/Daniel. Possibly with Moirin in the mix.
my platonic "their friendship is too precious to mess it up with romance" ship definitely Alais & Imriel! But...hm. I want to say Imriel/Mavros, but tristesses wrote a singular fic about this and now I'm torn, it also fits in friends with benefits.
my "i love it but don’t want it to happen" pairing I guess Thierry/Moirin. I was pretty happy with how their friendship went on even after the slightly ill-advised hooking up they had in Kiss. Mostly, though, the horror pairings didn't even come close. I'm awfully glad that Cillian/Moirin did not happen, though, because that would have been awful for Moirin and probably eventually not for Cillian either.
my "it started out crack but now it's serious and i regret everything" pairing I don't think I had any pairings like this! I like them all and the canonical ones are all fine. I'd be a bit horrified if Jagrati/Moirin actually happened though. Ditto *shiver* Imriel/Phedre. If the Kushiel fandom were bigger, I'd bet there'd be plenty of that. (and if there was a kinkmeme.)

Lmaooo I hate to break it to you, but the Moirin books are not Kushiel's Legacy (that is only the Phedre and Imriel trilogies)--it's the Naamah trilogy. Hence why I didn't include any pairings from that series when I was looking for answers. Although none of them would have ranked as high as my KL pairings anyway--as I've said, I was not as big a fan of the Moirin trilogy. I appreciate it most for telling us what happened next with Imriel and Sidonie and Alais, etc. (And for familiarizing me with the name "Bao" lol, before Bao Bao the panda came along--although I insist that I often confuse the panda's gender in part because I knew of a boy with that name. ;)) I am surprised that you were able to get into the series based just on the second book--I had forgotten half of it by the time I read the third book and had to flip through it to figure out what was going on/who these Indian people were and what Moirin kept referring to (like Jagriti), oop. That was my least favorite.

I disagree--I consider all nine books to be one giant series, and I just call it Kushiel's Legacy because it's easier. I know I can split them up (and even further into Phedre's trilogy, Imriel's trilogy, etc) but it's just easier this way, plus anyway the Naamah series grew on the KL fandom, and the category is just "Kushiel's Legacy", everything in. I can try doing the meme again with the first two trilogies, though I don't ship as much there!

I've always been a huge fantasy reader and to me personally the third trilogy is heaviest on magic, and that is always, always a huge lure. I love historical fiction but the mix of magic + history is like my ultimate catnip. I think you're also underestimating the difference in experience when you start with book 8 of a series, instead of book 1. I've had sequels I don't enjoy nearly as much because I'm way too hung up on the first book, and I might have been the same with this one, except I entered the series not on book 1 but 8, and subsequently I guess got hung up on the eighth one!

my "friends-with-benefits" pairing I'm not sure I have one, actually...I go back and forth on the functionality of Lucius/Narcissa. It's impossible to tell from the text, but I wonder if they loved each other. We know they really loved Draco, at least (cf book seven).
my "adele” pairing ("WE COULD HAVE HAD IT AAAAAALL") I'm okay with how the ships shook out. I love Draco/Hermione, but I fully admit it's because it has dynamics I love to read in romantic relationships, and I'm not so sure I'd have liked that mixing in my other feelings about HP.
