so I have been working on a fic set in Naomi Novik's Temeraire series. It involves Choiseul and his dragon Praecursoris.

I thought (FOOL ME) that it was a made up character.

I have six thousand words in this fic.

And then I googled the name and discovered he existed! Nooooooo! This reverses and upends things! NOOOOO!

Now that I have calmed down somewhat and stopped the whimpering noises, I think it can be changed about with some jiggling. After all, high ranking as minister notwithstanding, the duc sends his eldest son into the army...so that will work, thank goodness.
