The language makes for a very trippy feeling, or at least it did for me! Like, most places in Europe, I could at least follow the signs or basic hello/please/thank you type things. I just COULD NOT keep Hungarian in my brain for some reason, not even very common words, because there's no foundation to anchor it to, as you say.

The teckla mice are super cute! I was particularly pleased to learn this random factoid (if it is indeed a fact) because these mice are apparently native to my area :D

Tiassa are badass! Appearance-wise, they're probably my favorite after the jhereg (because shoulder dragon, how do you beat that.)
