That does make sense, though, that the Dragaerans don't quite get it on a core-deep level since they think of childhood as being several decades long
They're probably like, "Kid's four years old... uh, what do Easterners do at that age -- crawling yet? Saying words?" (Even without species difference, being the first in my group of friends to have a baby made me realize just how vaguely people who don't/haven't dealt with young children day to day understand early childhood milestones. The different maturation rates with Dragaerans has got to make that about a thousand times worse...)
