This was a delightful piece of vitriol, more enjoyable to read, I suspect, than the book itself was to you. (I love unreliable narrators-- Gene Wolfe's The Book of the New Sun is one of my favorites-- but to see a work come out with factually contradictory characters because the writer just didn't respect them enough to give a damn is argh-inducing.)
