Scanners are wonderful things when they work. Fortunately I went in with a different USB key and it magically worked, so my grudge against scanners has mostly evaporated.

(I'm not very good at holding grudges actually. One good thing, and poof! there goes my frothy rage.)

Ack, I'm so glad I mostly end up doing circulation rather than troubleshooting! That sounds so irritating.
