yes. i am big on detaily nature anyway. uh, we used to have this book or large magazine or something that had close-ups of all kinds of nature things, normal and unusual, and i got so good at identifying things from close-up, it was bizarre. (then i got older and learned how to have interests that weren't used by my siblings as party tricks and now i think i don't quite have that skill as much anymore. unsure if good or bad.)

i think it's more that those two in particular were so striking. the best people would pale in comparison! in my eyes at least. (then again i am the kid who got in trouble more than once for saying "i don't understand why you take pictures of people. i would rather have pictures of pretty things." i didn't mean that to be rude!)
